16.12.2011 NYAC and Essex House Multicultural Wedding: Julie and Sachin

Julie and Sachin’s wedding day was very special.  They chose to have not one but two ceremonies.  The first was a traditional Hindu ceremony and the second was an American ceremony.  The ceremonies were held at the New York Athletic Club, while the reception was next door at the Essex House.  The event was impeccably planned by Rose Events and we got yet another opportunity to work alongside Cengiz and the talented team at Adagion Studios.

With Central Park as the backdrop for the Baraat, one of the more unique elements was the Chinese Lions that performed during the procession to represent the bride’s Chinese culture.   We had not seen anything like it before and pretty soon there was a large gathering of spectators stopping to watch the performance.  It was a visually stunning combination and an experience we’ll not soon forget.

At the heart of it all was a couple that is madly in love and who were destined to be together.  Julie and Sachin- we could not be happier for you both.  You are some of the nicest people we have had the pleasure of working with.  Thank you for allowing us to capture an unforgettable event.
