23.07.2012 Boston Public Library: Jess and Jamie on 16mm Film

Boston is a beautiful city and at its best in the Springtime. Spending my college years just outside the city, Boston was where we spent the majority of our free time. As Harvard grads, Jess and Jamie chose Boston’s historic public library for their ceremony and reception venue. You can imagine how excited we were when they requested we capture their day on film. Film was the perfect complement to the prestigious backdrop of their wedding day. We were equally thrilled to be working with the Rafanelli Events team once more.

Jen Chan did a phenomenal job of orchestrating a stunning, sweet, and personal event for this lovely couple. I adored the bookmark place cards! We also had the pleasure of working alongside Nathan Smith of Ira Lippke Studios whose images of the event are breathtaking!

It is hard to pick a favorite first look, but this one is certainly one of the most beautiful. In the main steps of the library, you can see why they would choose such a unique location as their wedding venue. But it pales in comparison to the amount of love these two have for each other! Every time their eyes met, you could see them exchange words without a syllable spoken.

Congratulations Jess and Jamie! It was a privilege to capture your spectacular day.
